LOS ANGELES, CA — The nonprofit Our Vision Caribbean and Latino Film Festival announced today that Mexican film, television, and theater superstar, Isaura Espinoza, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and crowned Godmother of the Festival at the conclusion of the 2024 Festival closing ceremony for her career of exceptional excellence which spans a body of work of over 135 performances as an actress.
The 2024 Festival will take place January 13, 2024, in person in at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and the virtual Festival will take place January 14 – February 13, 2024 via Filmocracy and Hoopla BingePass. Ticket sales begin on January 2, 2024.
Amongst Epsinoza’s storied careered, includes blockbuster performances in El tigre de Santa Julia (2002), La venganza de Maria (1983) and Al caer la noche (1991).
