Director Biography
Julio Rolando López Fernández

Director and producer, Julio, co-founded Cine Murciélago in 2016. His debut feature, the documentary La Battle del Volcano, premiered in 2018 on DocsMX. He has produced several projects, including Marcela Zamora’s The Quarter of Bones, Los Ofendidos and Comandos; The whirlwind, by Laura Herrero, Heiress of the wind, by Gloria Carrión, Life goes away, companion, by Mariana Rivera and Ausencias, by Tatiana Huezo. His new film as director, Polvo de gallo, a co-production between El Salvador and Mexico, is presented in this edition of CATAPULTA.
