Narrative Short Film
Sadie is a neurotic twenty-something trying her best to navigate today’s dating world when she falls hard for a guy who has disappeared on her, after she gave him a gift. Trying her best not to seem thirsty, Sadie does everything possible to distract herself from contacting the object of her affection, only to come to some realizations that her issues with men may stem from a childhood riddled with domestic violence.

Director Biography
Sharice Keyes

Sharice Keyes is a screenwriter and poet from New York City. She holds a master degree from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she majored in television and film and she obtained her BS in Journalism from Northeastern University. Her first short film, A Tempting Torment, premiered at NYU’s Gallatin Arts Festival in 2018 and she has a growing following on her poetry blog “@literarykeys”.
